Leixlip Dog Grooming
Effective Date: March 2025
By booking an appointment at Leixlip Dog Grooming, you agree to the following terms.
1. Appointments & Cancellations
- All appointments must be booked in advance; walk-ins are not accepted.
- To cancel or reschedule, provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.
- No-shows will be charged a 50% no-show fee.
2. Health & Behavior Requirements
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated (proof may be required).
- Aggressive dogs may be refused service or incur an additional handling fee.
3. Matting & Coat Care Policy
- Matted coats require extra time and may incur a surcharge of €20 or more.
4. Pricing Estimates & Factors
The cost of grooming varies based on multiple factors, including:
- Dog's Size: Larger dogs typically require more time and products, leading to higher costs.
- Grooming History: Dogs that haven't been groomed regularly may need additional work, increasing the price.
- Coat Stage & Condition: Extra charges apply for tangled, matted, or excessively dirty coats that require more effort.
- Medical Conditions: Special care for dogs with skin conditions, injuries, or other health concerns may require additional time and special products.
- Dog's Age & Behavior: Puppies, elderly dogs, or dogs that are anxious, aggressive, or uncooperative may require extra time and handling, which could result in an additional charge.
5. Additional Charges
- Nervous or Aggressive Dogs: Dogs requiring extra handling due to aggression or anxiety may incur additional fees. If a dog is too stressed or aggressive, we may refuse service for safety reasons.
6. Accidents & Injuries
While we take great care, minor nicks or injuries may occur. In the case of a severe incident, we will contact the owner immediately.
7. Payment & Liability
- All payments are due at the time of service.
- Leixlip Dog Grooming is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or adverse reactions to grooming products.
8. Photography & Media Use
We may take photos of pets for promotional purposes. Please inform us if you do not consent to this.
9. Customer Reviews
- We may collect and display customer reviews on our website and social media.
- By submitting a review, you consent to its public display. If you wish to remove or edit your review, please contact us.
- We do not alter or fabricate reviews, but we may moderate content for offensive language or inappropriate material.
